Linz, Dork asked:
My mother and I did not get along at all pretty much from my 13th birthday until I moved out at age 17. I remember feeling constantly that she did not understand me and that she must not remember how it felt to be a teenage girl at all. I felt like she didn’t even try to relate to me.

What is your relationship like with your teenage children? What have you done differently than your parents did?
where can I find the statistic of ” teenagers shouldn’t obey their parents blindly” ?

I have found alot of mature adults would LOVE to see the younger generation hauled off to War…Another words to Teach them Love, Honor and respect…Is it the Kids fault they are the way they are or the Parents who Never took the time to raise the Properly in the first place. My son and daughter 22 and 19 would never Offend an Adult….They respect them, because they were trained that was the way they were suppose to be…So not ALL teenagers are Evil or Bad,….As adults we had a job to do, how well it was done, shows by the children, young men and women we have out there today….Who Do you Blame for the Kids actions of today? The parents or Kids?
To Texas Angel,
Apparently you haven’t read all the messages of young girls having *** at 11 years of age and so on. That kid is still a KID…There for the parent NEEDS to do their Job, and not pretend the poor kid can raise itself!!!!! Just because the kids grow up to a certain age DOES NOT mean you can skirt the issue of being a Good Parent….My kids DON’T murder, or HURT others, because they know better…I haven’t made the decision to FORGET my kids regardless of their age. Once a Parent Always a Parent…..Oh and I DO know what my kids are doing during the day, it’s called a Cell Phone and they have the Common Courtesy to inform me of what their doing or where their going, I expect that as they are still both living under my Roof and paying All the bills…

My 5 year old daughter starts school next year and my ex and I can’t seem to agree on the best parenting arrangement. I have proposed a week on week off arrangement as I feel this would provide more stability. She prefers a mid week handover. Which of these options would be better for my daughter?
