Are all teenage boys like this?

A question from MissChérie!: Are all teenage boys like this?
All the time when growing up, my brother always bullied me, we’re only 3 years apart (i’m 14 now, he’s 17)

He’s always been verbally abusing me and he used to physically abuse me
When my brother got into his teen years, it got alot worse. he calls me ugly, fat and horrible names even if I’m just sitting down in my living room watching tv or doing my make up in the mirror when I don’t even speak to him at all.

I go to a all girls school now, so I don’t associate with teenage boys

I really don’t like talking, looking or associating with teenage boys now, because if I look at them I fear they’d threaten me or want to hurt me, because that’s what my brother is like. Or if they look at me, (say i was in public) I always think , they’re probably insulting me that’s why they’re looking at me. Or if they speak to me, even if they’re friendly or ok, i think they just think i’m pathetic or just pretending, but really inside they’re just nasty.

I just probably think all teen boys are as nasty as my brother is, and all horrible because if my own brother does that to me, what does that make a teenage boy who’s a stranger going to do?

my parents know and have tried sorting it out.

Not All Teenage Boys Are Mean. It’s Just Your Brother. That’s In The Brother And Sister Nature. Most Guys Are Decent. Are You Telling Me Your Never Going To Marry?

Here’s An Explanation (Don’t Take It Personally, It’s Just The Way I Know To Explain) :

The New Girl At Your School Is Bullying Another Girl. Does That Mean ALL Girls Are Bad?

Sorry If That’s A Little Mean!

A question asked by Vegas!!☆: What’s your opinion on teenagers giving advice on pregnancy and parenting kids?
If you are an expectant mother, do you take advice from teenagers differently than you would a 20+ mother? How do you feel about teenagers giving you advice on pregnancy?

For mothers, how do you feel about advice on parenting your child[ren] given from a teen mom?

Do you feel a teenager, say 16 or 17 years old, shouldn’t be giving advice on pregnancy/parenting to a pregnant woman or adult mother, even if they are pregnant/have had children themselves? Or do you value their opinions the same as any other?
“Preg w/ #2″ – I need to “get over myself”?

My question is not attacking teen mothers at all, and I don’t see how it is rude. And fyi, I really wasn’t looking for what young mothers thought of the opinions of young mothers…

Sure if they are pregnant or a parent, just because they are young doesn’t mean their advice is any worse, they probably got their advice from their mother or grandmother. I am 20 and pregnant and would take advice from anyone who was willing to give it.

Question posed by bill :) : to parents of teenage girls with a boyfriend. (if not you can still answer but just let me know that youre not
okay well me and my girlfriend are both 13 and have been going out for a little over ten months. We have recently started to make out…me and her parents have mutual respect and thing highly of eatchother. As a parent would it bother you if you knew/thought your daughter was makng out? And what would help- what would you mind what would you be okay with…ex: I was talking with my mom about (I know weird lol) because I have a 14 year old sister and she makes out with her bf all the time; my mom says she doesn’t really mind as long as they’re being safe, not having sex and are in a different building.

What are your thoughts?

My chosen answer:

Personally, I would not let my 13 year old daughter even date. I think it is far too young.

Do all teenage boys have girlfriends?

Question by Gentle Mintos Trippin Balls!: Do all teenage boys have girlfriends?
I’m 16 and I don’t have a girlfriend and I honestly don’t want to go through the trouble of finding one. Instead I’d rather stay a virgin and do things like read, smoke buddha, build machines. A lot of people(including my parents and family) think I’m gay because I don’t try to find a girlfriend. It’s not necessarily hatred for women but I’m pretty sure I’m too ugly and weird for most girls. More so girls want you to buy gifts all the time and to control your whole life. I just want to get high and stuff

For parents of teenage girls?

A question from Texas_at_its_best: For parents of teenage girls?
What age do you think is good for a girl to wear thongs. My daughter is 13 and will only wear thongs. She dosent flaunt them and unless her shorts slip down you wouldnt know it. Some of her cousins who was over for the summer hurt her feelings and told her only wh***s wore them or strippers. Do you think 13 is too young for thongs? What would you do in my position

The No 1 answer:

Answer by swaman33
Yes she is too young. Don’t let her wear them. Also, you need some grammar lessons.

Question posed by kandyland: What is the #1 reason that parents don’t allow their teenagers to go out alot?
I heard that there are many reasons that parents don’t like it when teenagers go out with their friends. I want to know the main reason that most parents don’t give their kids freedom. If you are a parent, what is the main reason you don’t allow your teenagers to go out? When you were a teenager, what were your obstacles of having freedom? Please explain.

Most comprehensive answer:

Answer by Smita
when i was a teenager my obstacle to freedom was my parents. parents put restrictions on their teens because they’re protecting their children. they don’t want anything bad to happen to their children and by restricting how much they’re out of the home parents have more control over the possibility of anything bad happening.
