Close friend / boyfriend everyone in my family knows and likes = sure. close the door, keep it open, whatever. just no sex.

somebody they don’t know well and don’t trust – it’s either door open or sometimes we’re not allowed to go in my room, sometimes my parents judge on looks LMFAO.

Well, honestly I’ve never had a boyfriend so I wouldn’t know. But, my one friend who I have been friends with for 12 years is allowed in my room alone with the door open or closed. My parents trust him and me. We have a brother/sister relationship and we live really far away from each other so we could never date. Nothing bad has ever happened either. And, he’s only been alone in my room with me like twice. I’m usually outside with him beating his **** in basketball. (: LOL

I am a teen and i will tell you what my parents policy is. I am allowed to have a certain boy in my room but he is my god brother and i have known him since i was two. Any other boy is not allowed in my room period. If we have one of my guy friends fly out to see me he has to sleep in my brothers room or on the couch. i can’t even have guys hang out in my room, even with the door open.

my mom lets my boy go in my room when hes over (which he hasnt been allowed to in forever, however. his stupid parents suck), because she knows that im on BC and we’re being safe, and will be quiet. its kind of a dont ask/dont tell about whether we are having sex in my room or not, because quite frankly she doesnt want to know.

i used to be able to be in my boys room with him, but with the door open, but then his parents got lame and we have to sit in the living room with them in the same room constantly -_-

My parents let me have them in my room and they don’t care. My dad wanted me keep the door open with my ex. But we closed it anyways. My mom thought my dad was being ridiculous by making us keep the door open.
But my friend’s mom is really freaky about those things. Her mom won’t even let a guy fallow her into her room even if she’s just getting a coat from the closet.

I would say that it’s okay if the door stays open, but honestly I’ve done it like that – with his mom in the living room so… I don’t know what I’m going to do when they are teens?
