some adults think that u should have sex after marriage…
everyone knows that its gonna b more difficult to take care of a child as a teenager cuz us teenagers have to much to do to take care of a baby we have to finish school and thats y some ppl drop out early…
but its not illegal, no one goes to jail for it

I’m sorry, but I have to disagree with you. Being a teenager is NOT all about sexual development, it is about gaining knowledge and maturity. Some people have perfectly sound reasons for having sex at a young age, but the truth is, most people don’t. Most teenagers have sex either because “everyone else is,” or they want to prove that they’re mature enough, or something else along those lines. Those are not good reasons for having sex at an early age, and because they are the reason so many people have sex, those who have it for good reasons are largely overlooked in the process of stereotyping.

However, you are right about one thing: there is no need to be surprised or jump to conclusions when you hear that a teenager is having sex. People need to learn to listen and then judge. We have to remember to judge people not from where we stand, but where they stand, especially in cases like these.

I kno right they(adults) expect us to be like them when they were this age but i bet loots ofthem were having sex too! It just wasnt as Out There as we put it. And to the first commenter of this question… idiot its not illegal the legal sex age for the usa is 14 dumbass. if teen want t o have sex no one should be tell them or giving them shyt about it. Its my body ok. and if i make a mistake well pendejo thats what life is about making misstakes and learning from them. Yes some mistakes change your entire life but still Its my life and since when did america beciome caring and worried about what teens do in the first place. If we all died tomorrow no one would give a **** every1 would just go on with thier lives like they always do so ppl shut the **** up Get over yourselves and get some business cuz we AINT IT!

I don’t get it either. I think it’s completely appropriate as long as they truly care about each other and try their best to prevent pregnancy and STDs. I’m tired of adults (especially religious ones) preaching out about abstinence. It’s an option, but not the only one. I think girls shouldn’t be looked down upon because they had sex early. So they are exploring there world, god forbid!

i agree with you and my parents even freak out when the person is like 17 or 18. I am like wow, they have a job and are almost an adult, chill! Anyway i agree and the people should lighten up. I think at 16 and up you should be able to have sex, which it is legal then, but i think parents should be ok with it at 16.

Because sex is a serious thing….Many things can happen when you start to have sex. Yes teenagaers are having thoses feelings, but just because you have them doesn’t mean that you have to use them.

being a teenager is not “all about” having sex. that is a selfish perspective (although that is very teenager-like). i suppose youre right, it’s somewhat normal for a 15 year old to be having sex but it should be kept quiet. yet it is in your face, on the bus and everywhere in between. and not to mention teens nowadays think it’s “cute” to have a baby. idiots.
