When you're young you want to find out new things, yes? Wouldn't you, if the only thing you knew was the same mundane lifestyle but there was something else out there to try? Life is about learning and exploring, not just going about the most 'logical' or 'safest' route. When people are able to get the chance to try something new, exciting, better... most would grab it with both hands! I know I would. They’ve been cooped up inside a household for their entire lives, always following rules made by someone else.

When you’re young you want to find out new things, yes? Wouldn’t you, if the only thing you knew was the same mundane lifestyle but there was something else out there to try? Some people don't mind this, others find it very restrictive to their independence. personally, I didn't move out right after high school. But the main reason teens want to move out is because they have issues with their parents and they want their privacy, to do what they want without anybody telling them they can't and to be on their own, in their own 4 walls.
