I KNOWWWW HOW U FEEL my parents always pull that on me. its cause they are the bosses. Im sure i would take advantage of the fact that i can steal the remote. If you want the nicer point of view it is that parents work harder than kids. yada yada yada
But there are soooo many factors to it. They want you to get a good education and stuff you know ?
Haha that is so true. I don’t really yell at my 7 year old son for watching it too much because he always watches the shows my 18 month old daughter enjoys so they are somewhat educational. He might watch tv 2 hours an evening, on and off while playing with other stuff, so I let it go. My husband and I watch TV for about 2-3 hours before going to sleep and I **** hypocrites.
Are you kidding me? I never get to watch tv. I am so tired of watching Wow Wow Wubbzy and Dora the Explorer!!!
Tell your parents to get a job. I don’t know any respectable parent who can spend 7 hours in front of the box.
Maybe you made them miss one of their shows!!!
I can’t really answer your question. I let my kids have the tv in the morning, my husband in the early afternoon, my kids again in the evening. I get it for 2 hours at night before going to bed and during MY tv time, I have to give the little ones baths, wash dishes and take my own shower.
Who has time to watch 7 hours of TV? And who would want to as there is nothing worth the time airing anyway? Regardless, I watch maybe 90 minutes of TV at maximum and 30 minutes (the news) at minimum. I think that’s a nice healthy amount for every age.
Weeeeel, first of all, your brain isn’t developed and ours is. Therefore, we are not damaging the neural connections in our brains by watching th bright lights and flashy commercials. Also, we can easily determine what is real and what is not – perhaps not every adult but most of us. We know when the model looks too good to be true, it is because she is airbrushed and computerize. We also know that companies are marketing to specific demographics and have enough savvy not to fall for it. Again, maybe not all adults …
So the short answer is, because we can.
