generation gap
parents want to dominate still
but teens are now grown up enuf 2 think for thmslvs..
and parents dont get that
its really sad
i think that parents and teenagers rarely get along is because parents are trying to teach them the right things and teenagers want to think on their own and make the wrong chooses and get all upset and and all….omg 750-1000 words damn thats a freakin lottt good luckk…….
parents and teen agers tend to get along well when the parent plays the role as a friend instead of a parent. the teens open up to the parent and tell them whats going on in their lives and their parents actually listen to them instead of just lecturing them (which most of the time the kid probably needs a good lecture). parents and teens get along when the parent lets the kid do whatever they want. parents also get can get along more easily with their kid if they are close in age. my mom is 33 and i’m 17. she’s only 15 years older than me and we get along great. also, parents and teens get along with eachother if the teen is extremely mature for their age.
