A question from Chrissy: Why do parents put bad behaviour from teenagers down to hormones?
It is just not true. I see teenagers everyday who come from extreme hardship, whether it be someone in Africa who is having to look after a child in poverty, or teenagers here who have to look after disabled parents etc. I went to India and saw kids doing their h/w under streetlamps, just so grateful to even have an education.
Teenagers who behave badly are just extremely spoiled and ungrateful. It has nothing to do with hormones. Do you agree?

some of them dont want to admit their parenting ways have failed…..others actually believe it.

maybe they honestly want to hear what other parents’ thoughts are. or they just want to annoy us. but either way if i don’t like the question i just won’t answer it

Suppose some parents of teens had enough of artists like Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber, and they finally decided to prohibit their kids from listening to them any longer. While the kids are in school, the parents delete all their songs off their kids’ iPods and computers, break all their CD’s by those artists, and tear down all posters on the walls of them.
What would likely happen in the home that evening when the kids got home from school? How long before the kids get over it?

they would probably rebel and just do something much worse. that is why you should just let kids be who they want to be. as long as it is doing no harm.

I don’t get allowance as my mum just gave me money here and there when I needed something desperately, but she’s gonna start giving me some, and I was wondering how much you got.
Please give details like if they pay for anything for you, what do they pay for, and what they give you money for.

as of now, i don’t want any kids when i grow up.
