Psychiatrist Dr David Sack Discusses Troubled Teens
Dr. David Sack, MD, the President and CEO of Elements Behavioral Health, recently talked about troubled adolescent behavior with Allen Cardoza and Dr. Melody Foxx from Answers4thefamilyblog.com on the L.A. Radio Talk Show.
This board licensed psychiatrist has specialized in addiction psychiatry and medicine and today focuses on parenting problems related to issues around teenage drug abuse.
The discussion was focused around the question of why teenagers abused drugs in the first place and what could be done to help them break away from addiction.
Interventions May Save Lives
During the show, Doctor Sack talked about the symptoms that will help anxious parents identify the conflicting reasons that cause their child’s drug addictions. Parents must discuss these emotional issues to stop the problem from getting worse.
Youth are known to explore new things, but if they are demonstrating disturbing behavior, it’s a parent’s responsibility to examine the issues.
Although intervening in a hazardous situation–like situations related to drug treatments, abuse or truancy–might make your youngster loathe you, it might also save their lives.
It is vital for mothers and fathers to step in immediately.
Elements Behavioral Health
Elements Behavioral Health fills the gaps in psychological treatments.
It fills the gap between inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services.
It fills the gap between psychological health and substance abuse disorders.
And it fills the gap between customary and unconventional therapy to help people that are skinny or overweight due to eating disorders.
Elements Behavioral Health has an established goal: full restoration of health and well-being and not just symptom reduction.
Elements acquired Promises Treatment Centers as its first program. This has campuses in Malibu and West Los Angeles, California. It opened in February 2008.
Elements will continue to offer an assortment of highly specialized programs necessary for providing lasting recuperation and sustained clinical improvement for their clients.
